Ken Anderson, PA-C

Your Compassionate Physician Assistant

“I consider my patients my friends and I love going to work and seeing my friends every day. I also like solving problems and helping people get better.”

Ken Anderson, PA-C, sees his patients as family. As a physician assistant in family medicine, he treats his patients as if they were his mom or dad, son or daughter, brother or sister. By seeing them like this, he knows he is providing the best care possible. But, Ken Anderson doesn’t stop there—he also prays for his patients as he would a family member or friend.

Ken Anderson, PA-C, graduated from the Physician Assistant School at George Washington University. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and served as the past President of the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants.

Ken Anderson chose the field of family medicine because of the wide scope of the practice. He likes getting to solve a variety of problems and work with patients of all ages. Most especially, Ken Anderson enjoys the long-term relationships that are developed in primary care. He considers his patients to be his friends, and he loves going to work and seeing his friends every day. It is his pleasure to help people get better.

In his free time, Ken enjoys hiking, camping, baking and playing bass at church. Of course, his favorite pastime is spending time with his family. Although the Salem area has many great qualities, his favorite part is the mountains.
